The City of Piedmont’s proposed FY2025-26 budget is now available for review. The budget, adopted annually, serves as a major policy document and describes how Piedmont intends to finance its services and infrastructure in the coming year.

The proposed FY2025-26 budget maintains existing service levels and staffing levels citywide, prioritizing high quality service delivery, fiscal responsibility, and planning for the future while bringing several multi-year major projects to completion, including the City’s new community pool, dispatch center relocation, and Moraga Canyon Specific Plan.

Budget Advisory Committee to review proposed budget on May 20

The City’s Budget Advisory and Financial Planning Committee will meet to discuss the proposed budget next week on Tuesday, May 20, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.

Community members are welcome to attend and speak at the meeting. After their review, the Committee will provide a letter to City Council with their findings and recommendations in advance of budget adoption.

The City Council will hold public hearings on the proposed budget on June 2 and 16.
