The Piedmont Avenue Merchants Association (PAMA) is hosting a Holiday Tree Lighting celebration with festive music, lights, refreshments, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. The big holiday tree was donated by Dave Larsen, owner of Piedmont Grocery.
The celebration takes place Sunday, December 7, from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Key Route Plaza at the corner of 41st Street and Piedmont Avenue.
Hot chocolate and cookies will be available at a refreshment table, with donations to PAMA welcome. Enjoy musical performances from local jazz trio The 3 Elements, along with Piedmont Middle and High School string orchestra members.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 5:15 p.m. to light the holiday tree. Children can line up to meet them from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m., so families are encouraged to bring cameras for classic photos and cherished holiday memories.
