Piedmont School District is offering two options this summer for incoming middle school students through the Summer Adventures program. Engaging and meaningful experiences are available for middle school students, whether entering 6th grade or looking to build leadership skills as a Junior CIT.
Welcome to 6th Grade
A summer adventure for incoming middle schoolers is available. Designed to help students feel confident and prepared as they transition to middle school, the program blends practical readiness with fun activities and team-building.
Discovering the Routine
Students will explore what a typical middle school day looks like, learn about subjects they’ll study, and get familiar with academic expectations through hands-on activities.
Navigating the Campus
Guided tours and games help students feel at home in their new school, so they can walk in on the first day with confidence.
Building Connections
Friendships start here. Through games and small group challenges, students begin to connect with peers and build a sense of community. Students will receive many of the supplies they’ll need for the upcoming school year, helping them start strong from day one.
